Ensemble Verde is an amateur string ensemble established in 1988 and active in Tsukuba City.
As an ensemble without a conductor, its performance style is characterized by mutual listening and breathing together. Some are in their prime working years, some are in the midst of raising children, some need reading glasses for sheet music...the members come in all ages and occupations, but they work together as one with the joy of playing music with their friends.
We have been holding concerts twice a year and are now celebrating our 66th concert. This time, we will perform mainly the string ensemble version of Brahms' String Sextet No. 1, a masterpiece of chamber music.
