Kansai City Philharmonic Orchestra

The Kansai City Philharmonic Orchestra, an amateur orchestra with a total of about 100 members, will perform a very popular family concert that offers an easy way to become familiar with live orchestral music.
This year's program includes Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 "Destiny" and Bizet's "Carmen Suite," which always tops the list of "pieces I want the orchestra to play next," according to a survey.
The "Carmen Suite" is usually performed only in one of the suites or in excerpt form, but this time all of the first and second suites will be performed.
The program will be conducted by Sho Ito, a young and talented conductor who has won numerous awards in Japan and abroad, including the first prize at the Nino Rota International Conducting Competition, and is active in major professional orchestras.
Mr. Sho Ito has performed with the Kansai City Philharmonic Orchestra twice in the past, and is highly trusted by the orchestra members for his rich musicality and charming personality. Please look forward to the harmony that will be created from such a close relationship.
