Profile of Sanyushi Kaneko
Born in 1989 to a Japanese father and Hungarian mother.
He studied in Hungary by himself from the age of six. In 2001, at the age of 11, he skipped a grade and entered the Special Talent Development Course at the Liszt Academy of Music, where he studied with Eckhard Gábor, Keveházy Junji, and Wagner Rita. Studied at the National Academy of Music in Tokyo, Japan.
In 2006 (at age 16), he returned to Japan after completing the entire course. Graduated from Tokyo College of Music at the top of his class, and completed the graduate course at the same university.

In 2008, she won the first prize at the Bartók International Piano Competition, as well as numerous other international competitions.

In 2011, she won the 12th Hotel Okura Music Award, in 2012 she won the 22nd Idemitsu Music Award, in 2012 she won the 4th C.I.V.C. Joie de Vivre Award, in 2013 she won the 2012 Jomo Prize "The 10th Jomo Arts and Culture Award, Music Division.

He played the piano for "Masaru," one of the main characters in the movie "Honeybee and Thunder," which was released in October 2019, and his movie soundtrack CD "Kaneko San'yushi Plays Masaru" was also released to much acclaim.
He has performed with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Zoltan Kocsis, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jonathan Nott, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kenichiro Kobayashi, the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Century Orchestra Osaka (now the Century Orchestra Japan), and the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra conducted by Tatsuya Shimono. and others. He has performed in Hungary, the United States, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Kazakhstan, Russia, and China.

He is a regular host of NHK-FM's "Recital Passio" and has appeared on TV, radio, and many other media.

In recent years, he has been actively involved in outreach activities as part of his life's work. He is also active in various online projects at Corona Disaster.

In 2021, she will celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut in Japan, and will hold a solo recital "Origin x Challenge" at Suntory Hall in March 2022. In the same year, he also released a new CD "Freude" from Deutsche Grammophon.
