Awakoh Philharmonic Orchestra (Tokyo Metropolitan Ryogoku High School Alumni Orchestra)

The Awako-Philharmonic Orchestra is composed mainly of graduates of Tokyo Metropolitan Ryogoku High School, and is unique in Japan in terms of its long history as a high school graduate orchestra.

The 67th subscription concert will feature Wagner, Liszt, and Brahms, the most famous composers of the Wagnerian (New German School) and Brahmsian Schools, respectively, which caused a fierce debate in the history of Western music since the middle of the 19th century.
Incidentally, all of the pieces will be in the key of C. Each piece will be in a major or minor key. Although there are differences in the major and minor keys for each piece, we hope to convey the world of C, which has a powerful, majestic, and imposing atmosphere.

Tickets and seating will be the same as before, in paper form, with all seats unreserved, and same-day tickets will be available for those who feel free to come.
