Sans Souci Palace is a rococo palace in Potsdam near Berlin. Built in 1747, the palace was owned by King Frederick II of Prussia. The king loved music and played the flute himself. In the rococo music room of the palace, a dreamlike concert was held by the king's star musicians.
In this concert, we will perform music of the "Berlin School" including C.P.E. Bach, Benda, and Janitchu. Please enjoy the works from the transitional period from Baroque to Classicism.
