The 14th Hagi City Hall Lobby Concert

Born in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture in 1968, Gomi began playing the violin at the age of four. After graduating from university, he joined the Kamakura Symphony Orchestra, a long-established local citizens' orchestra, in 1992, and was appointed concertmaster the following year. Since then, he has been the "face of Kamakura Symphony Orchestra" for about 30 years.

　In addition, he came to Hagi with about 64 members of the Kamakura Symphony Orchestra and performed at the "Ninth of Japan" held at the Hagi Civic Hall as the 30th anniversary of the Hagi/Kamakura sister city cooperation project in 2009. This was the fourth time for the orchestra to perform in Hagi. In addition, while serving as concertmaster of many amateur orchestras, he has produced the "MUSIK SPIELEN Series (Ofuna, Kamakura City)," and is engaged in a variety of musical activities as a hobby.
