The Tsukuba Recital Series is a series of classical concerts organized by the Executive Committee consisting of volunteer students from the University of Tsukuba. The series has been well received for its low-cost (¥1,000 for adults, free for students) concerts by top-notch musicians.
This year's 12th concert will feature the Toho Gakuen Orchestra, a prestigious orchestra that has produced world-class musicians such as Seiji Ozawa.
Toho Gakuen and Tsukuba University have a history of overcoming the postwar turmoil. Today, we still face various restrictions due to the Corona disaster, but that is precisely why we want to encourage and join forces with the young people who will be responsible for the coming era, and together we will overcome the difficulties. We also want to cheer up the people of Tsukuba. Toho Gakuen responded to the wishes of the Executive Committee and made this concert possible.
