The Elegance of the French Baroque Recorder and Viol

February's Tsurumi de Kogaku will feature the four performers who appeared in the well-received 2021 "Music of the Spanish Golden Century" and 2022 "Winds of Spain and Italy.
The ensemble will move the stage to the French Court, with the lute, and return in a new, more lively and enjoyable style. The ensemble will perform "Miyabi" music with Asuka Takahashi's recorder and Hisashi Kato's viola da gamba, Hiroshi Kaneko's lute, and Uezono's clavecin, as well as F. Couperin's masterpiece "Conserre du Royale No. 2" and Dupard's suite, among others. Tsurumi's stage will be transformed into a gorgeous and diverse musical scene of the French court at the height of the Baroque era!
