In 2020, when I began my career as a resident artist, there was an epidemic of an unknown virus around the world, my freedom was taken away, and opportunities to perform were cut off. I spent my days feeling frustrated and lonely, as my connections with others faded and my emotional balance was disrupted. Yet, music was always by my side.
As the culmination of the resident artists, this year's program includes a wide range of music, from Baroque works to commissioned pieces by Japanese composers, regardless of time period or country. Please enjoy the connection and balance of the classical world created by composers from all over the world.
