Evergreen Philharmonic Orchestra 4th Concert

Program
First piece: 🇦🇹Mozart / Opera <La finta semplice> Overture
This is an arrangement based on his Symphony No. 7, which he composed in his childhood, and is full of delicacy and loveliness typical of Mozart.

Second piece: 🇷🇺 Tchaikovsky/String Sextet (string ensemble version)
Since this piece was originally intended for a sextet, it is a piece that requires a high level of technical skill from each individual and is extremely difficult just to get everyone to play together. Enjoy the unique sound of the string ensemble as Tchaikovsky recounts his memories of Florence in his later years.

Third piece: 🇩🇪 Beethoven / Symphony No. 7
The well-trained string ensemble and professional wind and percussion players will work together to bring out all the charm of this piece, including its unfathomable joy, sadness, and exuberant energy.

Introduction of the orchestra
Our group was founded in 2019 as the Evergreen String Orchestra by volunteers who graduated from the Tokyo University of Agriculture Agricultural Society Orchestra Club. Since we are now working on orchestral music as well as string music, we have changed the name of the orchestra to Evergreen Philharmonic Orchestra from 2021.

Currently, the Evergreen Philharmonic Orchestra has a wide range of members, not only alumni, and we are practicing every day to improve our performance.
