The solo voices of BWV 36c, 131, 140 will be sung by the members of KOKOKURAKU CLUB.
The orchestra will be period instruments.

KOKOKORAKU Club
An amateur choir founded in September 2021 by a dozen volunteers. The purpose of the group is to tackle Bach's cantatas from the basics, deepen understanding, and improve accuracy in performance. The choir rehearses in Tokyo under the direction of Kozue Shimizu, who is active with the Bach Collegium Japan and other groups, on the premise of performing with a period-instrument orchestra with baroque pitch. The solo singers are selected by audition, and the members are actively involved in the selection of the pieces to be performed, analysis of the music, and translation of the lyrics into Japanese.
