Music Heard from the Baltic Sea - Part 2
Series featuring composers from neighboring Baltic Sea countries
2023/01/15(su.) 14:00 Starting
In November 2022, the first installment of the "Music Heard from the Baltic Sea" series featured works by Szymanowski (from Poland), Pärt (from Estonia), and Sibelius (from Finland), and was performed at the Oe Noh Theater in Kyoto and the Moegi no Mura Music Box Museum in Kiyosato to favorable reviews.
This second performance in the series will feature works by Carl Nielsen (from Denmark), Sibelius, Palmgren, and Englund (all from Finland). These works are rarely performed, but they are full of charm and fascination for the audience.
We hope you will enjoy the scenery you will reach as you are rocked by the waves of sound created by the works of composers from neighboring countries of the Baltic Sea.
