◆The Ring's Charm
　Wagner's opera "The Ring of the Nibelung" took 26 years to complete from conception to completion. It took 26 years from conception to completion, four days of performance, and a total of 15 hours of performance time. The work consists of four parts: "Gold of the Rhine," "Valkyrie," "Siegfried," and "Twilight of the Gods," and depicts the bloody struggle among gods, giants, dwarfs, and humans for the ring, which only those who have renounced love can create and obtain the power to rule the world. 　The music, which is spun by a large orchestra of 100 musicians, including Wagner's tuba and bass trumpet, developed especially for this work, is characterized by richness and precision in the best of the Romantic period, and is as majestic as an Alpine sunset. The music is as magnificent as the evening glow of the Alps, and it will send the audience into an overwhelming whirlpool of emotion.
　In this performance, eight excerpts from the entire work will be performed in an orchestral version without singing, which is about 70 minutes in length, and Erda, the god of knowledge who warns the gods of twilight, will narrate the epic between the performances in a way that audiences who do not know the contents can enjoy. The performance will be performed in a form that can be enjoyed by all audience members, even those who are not familiar with the content of the work.

◆Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto
　Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto, which will be performed in the first half of the concert, is a masterpiece among masterpieces written at the same time as the Ring. Tchaikovsky is a composer who is also associated with Wagner, as he was one of the audience members at the world premiere of Ring at the first Bayreuth Festival. This time's soloist, Akihisa Arai, will surely be the biggest attraction of the concert with his dim tone and expression full of power and romanticism.

◆About the Romantic Music Society Orchestra
　The Romantic Music Study Group Orchestra consists of 25 students and graduates of Tokyo University of the Arts, Tokyo College of Music, Kunitachi College of Music, Aichi Prefectural College of Fine Arts and Music, Toho Gakuen College of Music, Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, etc., and 70 amateur musicians from the Kanto area. The orchestra is a large orchestra of up to 100 members, with 70 members in total. The orchestra approaches each piece from multiple perspectives, learning not only about ensemble and sectional music, but also about history, musicology, and other related fields.
