After graduating from Keio University with a Bachelor of Science in Science and Technology, he moved to Europe, where he currently holds the position of principal of the prestigious Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has won first prize in the middle and high school sections of the Japan Student Competition. First prize in the Japan Music Competition. He has performed with many major orchestras including the NHK Symphony Orchestra.
