This year we will again bring you the story of Jesus Christ on Christmas Eve. We will pick up the words of Jesus Christ as they are preserved in the Gospel of John in the New Testament and weave them together to tell the story of his great life.　　Naoya Tokita

　The life of Jesus Christ will be performed in a solo song play, focusing on the world's best-selling Bible. The songs sung and all the insert songs are composed by Naoya Tokita himself. Similar works such as Bach's Matthew Passion and John Passion are well-known, but they are usually performed in German as a music drama. This time, instead of using the German language, the beautiful Japanese words are used, and the songs are sung focusing on the words spoken by the main character, Jesus, and following his life. This is the reason why we have chosen the title "Gospel Song" instead of "Passion Song. The performance is in Japanese, so even without subtitles, the audience will find it easy to understand and familiar.
