ZAKURO SHOW Global", a special edition of "Japanese instrument live ZAKURO SHOW", which was voted the No.1 concert in Tokyo by TripAdvisor, the world's largest review site, will be held with gorgeous guests!

The first part of the special program is a fusion of violin pieces including Bach's "Chaconne," known as an immortal masterpiece of classical music, with calligraphy and iaido performances.

The violin performance will be given by Israelyan Cullen, whose performance at Suntory Hall last year is still fresh in our minds, and international violinist Zograb Tatevoshan, deputy concertmaster of the Teatro Real (Royal Theater), who will come from Spain for this concert. While listening to the world-class violin known for its faithful reproduction of Bach's intentions, the brush strokes and iaido sword dances of Japan's finest calligrapher will be performed.
William Reed, a calligrapher who embodies both the literary and military arts, will be the first in the lineup, and special guests will include Master Takeda Pengyuuk, the 340-year-old legitimate heir to the Mugeiryu iaido license and a "modern samurai" who has attracted worldwide attention, as well as Master Yasumura Huoyu, the International Iaido Federation Pengyuukai Renshi 6th dan and winner of three All Japan tournaments. The special guests are Mr. Takeda Pengyu-kai, President of the International Iaido Federation Pengyu-kai, and Mr. Yasumura Huoyu, Renshi 6th Dan of the International Iaido Federation Pengyu-kai and winner of three All-Japan tournaments.

In the second part, ZAKURO SHOW artist "Aioi Ensemble" will perform a new joint performance with Japanese dance and violin, in addition to popular pieces from their regular performances. Special guests Hanayagi Genkuro and Hanayagi Mikifu from the Hanayagi school, one of the five major and largest schools of Japanese dance, will perform a ji-uta "Arare Nezumi" on the shamisen for the first time at the ZAKURO SHOW. In addition, a Western classical piece by Brahms will be performed with a special arrangement of Japanese instruments and violin, providing an opportunity to rediscover the charm of Japanese instruments from a new aspect.
