This concert is entitled "Colors of Czech Music" and will feature a complete all-Czech program.
Czech music is known for its simple warmth, similar to the Japanese sentiment, but its colors differ slightly depending on the period and composer.
This time we will present three pieces from different periods of Czech music. The first work in D major by Reicher, who wrote and established the woodwind quintet, an arrangement of Dvořák's America, which is famous as a string quartet, and Janáček's Youth, which is performed with an unusual arrangement of a woodwind quintet and bass clarinet.
Although there are only a few pieces, they are all main classics, and you will be able to fully hear the difference between each piece in this program.
We hope you will enjoy the vivid colors of Czech music presented by our experienced orchestras and ensembles.
