Takahiro Yoshikawa Piano Recital

This is a return to Japan recital by Takahiro Yoshikawa, one of the most important pianists you need to hear right now. Yoshikawa, who lives in Milan, has made numerous highly acclaimed appearances at La Scala in Milan and has been featured frequently in the media. In Japan, he has appeared on NHK's Best of Classics and Classic Club. Last year, she performed with the NHK Symphony Orchestra for the first time in "Music Tomorrow 2021" and gave a full-bodied solo performance of Yoshio Mamiya's Piano Concerto No. 2. In this recital, please enjoy the masterpieces by Beethoven, Takemitsu, and Chopin.

Just as sound resonates with the eardrums through the air - Resonate - music resonates between composer and performer through the score, and between performer and listener through the performance. In this concert, three sonatas - Tre sonate - will be performed. Chopin's sonata resonates with Beethoven's sonata, and Takemitsu's ritani (litany) resonates with funeral marches for the dead.
