In spite of the gorgeous content, the event is being held in a small venue because we want all the audience to fully experience the beauty of Mari Miura's works.
In a space limited to a maximum of 100 people, the time spent experiencing Mari Miura's works in a variety of compositions is sprinkled with innovations that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Part I, Homage to Paganini, is a piece that is frequently performed in solo contests, so the commentary will unfold in the form of a conversation between flutist Akira Kono and Mari Miura.
How the performance is made to intertwine with the soloist's viewpoint and the intention from the composer will be a time for appreciation and discovery from a new perspective♪.
Part II: Memories are Silver Flute is a standard piece for flute ensembles and is very often seen in ensemble contests. The quartet led by Mr. Akira Kono and the high school students' quartet will attend a special clinic by the composer himself for this day only.
This is a luxurious time for the performers to receive both the message they receive from the score and the message conveyed by the composer in front of them.
Another highlight of the event is the opportunity for high school students and professionals to perform together and see how they inspire each other.
The third part, Princess Mermaid, will be a scripted and filmed production.
The script is by Seiko Ichihara, who is an indispensable presence in Mari Miura's works, and the accompanying visuals have all been well received, as evidenced by the many works she has produced to date. The accompanying video has been well received by the audience, as evidenced by the many works that have been produced to date.
