Mozart's popular opera "Don Giovanni" will be performed in a lecture-concert format. You will be able to enjoy many of Mozart's masterpieces in a string quartet version, which is rare in the world.
In the second part, we will introduce four pieces from the opera "Cinderella: 12 O'Clock Bells Are the Happiest Sound" by Naoki Nakamura, a composer living in Akashi. They have been arranged for this concert and will be presented for the first time as string quartet accompaniment versions.
The Nakasaki Public Hall, where Soseki Natsume gave the inaugural lecture, is the oldest existing public building in the city and a national tangible cultural property.
Let's enjoy a page from the autumn season of art. How about a moment of time to enjoy a blend of the Japanese and Western worlds that is beautiful to the eyes and ears while thinking about history?
