Last Works

What were the "final days" of great composers like? In what kind of state were they in, and what were their thoughts when they wrote their last piece of music? Can we feel a part of them from the last works they left behind? ......
This performance is the first joint project of the Toyonaka ARTS Wagon, a human resources development project sponsored by the Toyonaka Municipal Culture and Arts Center, and the Music Communication Major of the Osaka College of Music in the same city. The students of the major were inspired by their encounters and interactions with the artists and came up with the idea for this project. Together with Risa Higashikawauchi's piano performance, we will touch upon the composer's final thoughts.
