Welcome to the Ravensurst Philharmonic Orchestra!

Leben presents music! We will be holding a concert with lots of Christmas songs for everyone to enjoy.
Let the live music of the orchestra brighten your Christmas ☺.
We are sincerely looking forward to seeing everyone at the concert.

*This is the "Matsudo Christmas Music Festival" concert that we have been performing every year since 2018.
This year, for the first time in four years, we will be performing with the orchestra!

◆Conductor Kotaro Nomura
Born in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. After graduating from the Tokyo College of Music with a degree in composition and conducting, he went on to graduate from the Department of Conducting, Faculty of Music, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. He studied conducting under Hiroyuki Odano, Akihiro Kano, Junichi Hirokami, Masanori Mikawa, Yasufumi Tokito, Ken Takaseki, and Kazushi Yamashita. He has attended master classes with Tadaaki Otaka, Jolt Naji, and László Tihanyi, and is a 2019 Music Student Scholar of the Meiji Yasuda Quality of Life Foundation. He received the 2020 Ryohei Miyata Scholarship and the Ataka Prize within the Tokyo University of the Arts. Upon graduation, he received the Acanthus Music Award and the Taito Ward Mayor's Award. Currently, he is enrolled in the Master's Program in Conducting at the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts.

◆ Ravensrust Philharmonic Orchestra
The Lebensorst Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in April 2016 by members from more than 20 organizations and schools with the idea of "Let's make music together. Lebenslust means "joy of living" in German. The orchestra has held six concerts so far, and has also been involved in various performance activities, such as mini-concerts at elementary schools and appearances at the "Matsudo Christmas Music Festival" (2018-). Recently, they have been actively challenging new projects such as string concerts and ensemble concerts.
