Kawanishi Citizens' Orchestra
The 10th Regular Concert
2022/11/12(sa.) 13:30 Starting
We, Kawanishi Citizen's Orchestra, founded in 2011, will finally celebrate our "10th Regular Concert". Without any commemorative events, this is our 10th Regular Concert in our 12th year of existence!
The regular concert had been held once a year in the fall, but since the 9th concert, it has had to be postponed or cancelled, and we have had to hold it in the spring for free in case of cancellation.
With many breaks in between, the experience of our group has been at a standstill, but even in that time we have welcomed new members and practiced individually to improve, and I believe that we have been steadily moving forward.
This year, for the 10th time in our 12th year, we tackled Sibelius' "Symphony No. 2," a masterpiece that has been requested many times over the years. We have received enthusiastic guidance from conductor Hiroshi Sasaki and guest concertmaster Yuichi Nakayama to make this our 10th anniversary concert so that you can feel the progress of our orchestra. We hope you will enjoy the concert and invite all of you to join us.
We look forward to seeing you at the concert.
