~In memory of Takashi Momose and Yoshiaki Tonozuka

2022/11/26(sa.) 15:00 Starting

Daikanyama Church Church HallTokyo

In memory of Mr. Takashi Momose and Mr. Nitoaki Tonozuka, both musicians and artists, we would like to have a farewell time with them in this concert.
In the history of music, it has become customary to write piano trios as memorials to deceased great musicians. For this concert, we have selected Piano Trio No. 1, composed by Arensky and Rachmaninoff as a memorial to them, and other masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven, and Schumann, who were beloved by Mr. Momose and Mr. Tonozuka.
Mr. Momose and Mr. Tonozuka deeply loved music, art, nature, and Beethoven. They quietly instructed us, "If you are a musician, look to the sky and nature," and "Go high, deep, and wide in the world of the piano.
In their Piano Trio No. 1, we will explore the similarities and differences between Rachmaninoff and Arensky, who had studied composition under Arensky, and the young Rachmaninoff, who was still a student, and how his teacher's influence was reflected in his music.
