Last year, I came across a piece by Yumiko Kato, who has adapted two famous Rakugo stories, "Jukinmu" and "Shibahama," into an opera. I thought, "This is in Japanese, and everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy it! I thought, "Now is the time for us to do this performance! We decided to plan "Japan-Italy Ope Rakugo".
We decided to adapt an Italian comedy opera and make it like Italian Rakugo performed in Japanese, so we also included "O Onna Chu Nyobo (The Wife's Wife)" as a set.
We have also created a ticket system that allows you to enjoy the concert while taking precautions against infectious diseases. We hope that this concert will be a good opportunity to connect with you and your friends.

Composer Yumiko Kato will join us in our heated rehearsals, and with her direct advice, we will perform a performance full of things that we will only do in this show.

Thanks to a grant from the Agency for Cultural Affairs - AFF2-, we have been able to set a support price for children and audiences over 65 years old, and the production has been completed to be enjoyed by many people.

We are sincerely looking forward to seeing you all.

and! [Project to pass on memories from child to child].
If you have any recorders, keyboard harmonicas, etc. that you have lying around at home, please bring them to the event! We will send them to children overseas through Lions Clubs.
