We are pleased to welcome the up-and-coming and talented Rino Yoshizaki as our conductor. Please enjoy the collaboration between the current student conductor of the University of the Arts and our orchestra.
This is the first time for us to feature Sibelius, but we are very much looking forward to bringing you the winds of Northern Europe. Strauss' "Romance for Clarinet and Orchestra" is a beautiful piece composed when he was 15 years old. Please enjoy the rich "chamber" ensemble with Mie Toyonaga, who will be performing with the orchestra for the second time. We have been talking about performing Brahms Symphony No. 2 when the new Corona converges, but since the word "convergence" is no longer used, we will perform it in a big way.
