Atsuko Abe Violin Recital

In Austria, the capital of which is Vienna, the city of music, the word "gemütlich" is used when the atmosphere is indescribably pleasant. is used when the atmosphere is unmistakably pleasant in Austria.
Atsuko was brought up in the city of music, studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna at the age of 16 upon graduation from junior high school, under the guidance of excellent professors such as former Vienna Philharmonic Concertmaster Rainer Küchl. Her rich musicality was highly acclaimed, and she was loved by the people of Vienna, performing many times at the Austrian State Medal of Honor award ceremonies.
We want people to enjoy classical music with our performers, to feel a sense of contentment and happiness, and to share a wonderful moment with them. The "Talk & Classical Music with Gemütlich" series began in 1994 with this in mind. To date, 22 concerts have been held.
After a one-year absence, Atsuko's beautiful tone will once again echo through the newly renovated Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall. This time, in addition to Handel and Grieg sonatas, the program includes Paganini's Cantabile in his anniversary year, many serenades by Schubert and others, and Piazzolla's Libertango, among other small pieces.
The soul of music honed in Vienna and the sound of the violin perfected through unparalleled sensitivity will resonate deep in the heart of each and every listener. Please enjoy a gemütlich moment surrounded by stylish talk and rich music.
